The cold is sapping what’s creative about me. And it’s not even as cold as it has been but the lack of sun and the damp makes me want to throw on more clothes, huddle in the bath or put on my jammies. At barely 5:30. This too will get better as the days will get longer.
Seems like I should make something slow-cooked, warming, soothing–and all I can think of is quick. Quick it will be, pasta with oil and garlic because it’s too cold to even go down to the freezer for some home-brewed tomato sauce.
